Noble work of VOSS 92 on the auspicious day i e Independence Day.About 21 members joined in the event. Every body enjoyed plantation , interacted with students/children of Sarada Niketan & played cricket with them.Arranged a meeting under Chairmanship of Pitabasa Jena, Advisor,VOSS. Gadadhar Rath, Convenor, VOSS 92 welcomed children & members and briefed about activities of VOSS. He also requested students of Sarada Niketan to take care of trees by identifying and naming the tree by each student & thanked all members for extending their moral, financial & physical support to VOSS 92 for organising such a noble event . He extended special thanks to Amrapalli Roy, Janhabi Deo, Latika Mekap , Nabanita Das & Sangita Padhy for their participation. Babita Kar, Secy, VOSS, Dr.Sudhakar Jalli, Org.Secy. VOSS & Dharanidhar Nanda, Advisor, VOSS delivered lectures on Missile Man, Peoples President late Dr.Abdul Kalam. Our guest Dr. Rabi Mishra , Specialist(O&G), Capital Hospital, Subhransu Acharya, DGM, SIDBI Training Centre , Baby Jasminee , Babita Kar, Padmashree Prusty, Amrapalli Roy distributed study materials & sports items to Swami Pranarupa Nanda (Founder of Sarada Niketan) .Khirod Kumar Panigrahi, Proud Member, VOSS interacted with students homely & very closely. Students felt very happy to see all sports items( Two Carrom Boards, Two Cricket Bats/Balls, One Foot Ball, Two Ludu Pallis etc) as they demanded. Really this event will be added to the life of all members as a noble event. Thanks to the organising team for arranging the activity in a organised manner and cooperation of all members made it a grand success. This type of social activity will also be organised on Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti & World Students Day with cooperation of all members.
